Do I have to install anything on a client site?

Accepted Answer

No. Safeliant tests storefronts from the outside in a real browser, exactly as a shopper would. There is no script to add, no tag to deploy and no code change on the client site — which also means you can check a prospect's store before you have any access to it.

How far through checkout does a check go?

Accepted Answer

The journey walks home, product, add to cart, cart and checkout entry, and stops there. No payment details are entered and no order is ever placed. Because the run never gets past checkout entry, the purchase event itself is the one funnel event Safeliant does not verify, and we say so rather than implying otherwise.

Will running a check affect the store?

Accepted Answer

It behaves like one shopper session: pages are loaded and a product is added to a cart, which is what changes — cart and session state, in a synthetic session of our own. Nothing is bought, no forms are submitted, no customer data is entered, and no setting, tag, template or catalogue entry is touched. An abandoned cart is the only trace a run leaves.

Does Safeliant change my client's tracking?

Accepted Answer

No. Safeliant is a measurement and testing layer, not a tag manager. It reports what it observed, what the rule expected and the fix to apply — a person on your team applies it. There is no automated remediation.

Which platforms do you support?

Accepted Answer

The full revenue journey through checkout entry is validated end to end on Shopify. On WooCommerce, detection and passive analysis run and the journey is attempted, but complete checkout-entry coverage is not yet guaranteed. Magento and other platforms get detection and passive analysis; journey coverage is not claimed for them.

What does a finding actually contain?

Accepted Answer

Four things: what Safeliant tested, what it observed, what the deterministic rule expected, and the captured evidence — screenshots, request URLs, decoded event payloads and the journey step it came from. That is what makes a finding safe to forward to a client instead of relaying a warning.

Is this another analytics implementation tool?

Accepted Answer

No. An implementation platform helps you deploy tracking. Safeliant independently tests whether the tracking and the funnel still work after everything else has been deployed, and preserves the evidence. It is deliberately outside the system it is checking, which is why it can catch the failures that system cannot report on itself.

Can I use it across several client accounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that is the design. A portfolio run scans many client stores, ranks them by what needs attention, and surfaces issues several clients share. Pricing is quoted on how many client accounts you monitor and how often.

What happens after an issue is fixed?

Accepted Answer

The next run that can actually assess the store and no longer finds it records it as resolved. If it appears again later, it is reported as a regression, with the date the earlier fix was recorded. A run that was blocked resolves nothing — a store never becomes healthy because a check could not reach it.

Does Safeliant tell me how much money a client is losing?

Accepted Answer

No. Safeliant does not estimate monetary impact. A scan observes a storefront from the outside and has no access to order values, margins or traffic volumes, so any euro figure it produced would be modelled rather than measured. Findings are stated as measurement and revenue risk; financial impact is assessed separately, using the client's own business data.

How do recurring checks run?

Accepted Answer

Safeliant generates the schedule — cron, GitHub Actions or systemd — and it executes in your own CI, cron or server environment. There is no hosted scheduler yet, so anything describing Safeliant as always-on monitoring would be describing a service that does not exist.

Can I see a report before buying anything?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A full report rendered from a real scanner run is on the site, with no account required, and the free check on a client storefront also needs no card and no meeting.
